How does it work?

Signer Requirements:

1. Internet Connection

2. Valid U.S. government issued Photo ID or passport

3. Access to a smartphone or computer with audio/camera capabilities.

Book Appointment

Simply book an appointment by selecting how many documents you need notarized then choosing a date and time that works best for you. The only information we need to confirm the appointment is your full name, email address, cell phone number. Your personal information is in safe hands and will be handled with the highest level of confidentiality.

Upload Document

Submit your documents to our secure portal at least 1 hour prior to your appointment. Once documents are received, you will be sent an email with a link to access the online notary session. For your security and privacy, all documents will be deleted within 24 hours or after your notary appointment is completed, which ever comes first.

Meet with Online Notary

About five minutes prior to appointment time, you will be prompted to click on a secure link sent directly to your email address provided. Simply upload a photo of your identification then meet with your online notary. After the notarization is complete your document will be available for instant download.

Cancellation Policies

Mobile Notarization Cancellation Policy:

 

Please contact Boyd Mobile Notary & Loan Signing Services at your earliest opportunity if you are unable to meet or need to reschedule your appointment time.

You may cancel your appointment without charge anytime up to 24-hours in advance of your appointment start time. You will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee when the appointment is canceled less than three (3) hours before the confirmed appointment.

 

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not email Boyd Mobile Notary & Loan Signing Services to cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged the full scheduled service fee. 

**We may decline to notarize if the signer is confused, not fully aware, not coherent or responsive, under the influence, or does not have proper ID. The associated appointment fees are due even if the notarization cannot be completed.


 

Online Notarization Cancellation Policy:

 

24 hour or more notice:
Reschedule: no penalty or additional charges.
Canceled and Not Rescheduled: 25% cancellation fee deducted from refund.


Less than 24-hour notice:
Reschedule: $25.00 Reschedule Fee
Canceled and Not Rescheduled: 50% cancellation fee deducted from refund.

Refund Policy for Technical/Technology - Set Up Fee, Witness Fee, and 25% of the service fee will be deducted from refund for the following reasons:

  • Failure of signing participant(s) computer equipment or software

  • Failure of signing participant(s) internet connection

**We may decline to notarize if the signer is confused, not fully aware, not coherent or responsive, under the influence, or does not have proper ID. The full appointment fee is due even if the notarization cannot be completed for this reason.
